Our Forestry Legacy
Woodland Forest Management Company is a subsidiary of Mason, Bruce & Girard, a full service natural resource consulting firm headquartered in Portland, Oregon. MB&G acquired Woodland Management Company from Jim Wick and Dan Green in 2016. They had been working at Woodland Management since 1985. The company was originally founded in the 1950s by Dick Smith, a former employee of MB&G.
When Jim and Dan announced their retirement, we jumped at the chance to buy the company. Jim and Dan have a great reputation for client service and profitable forest management. We look forward to continuing their good work, and offering even more services to Woodland’s long term clients.
